After Eden Hazard’s latest statement, Real Madrid are well aware that they won’t be able to lure him during this transfer window. However, according to the Mirror, they started considering different ways and options to get to the player. Currently, their plan is to make an offer for € 225 million, with half the money being paid now, and the other half when Hazard’s contract with Chelsea expires. Los Blankos believe that with this deposit they will show the Belgian player how serious they are with their intentions and that will stop him from renewing his contract with Chelsea next year.
Eden Hazard’s current contract ends on the 30th June 2020. This means that, a year from now, Chelsea might be forced to sell him for a lower price than the current one.
